After studying Politics and Philosophy at Leeds University, working in development for the voluntary sector and being a musician signed by Universal records; I decided to start my own business in 2008. Since then I have gained experience in all areas of property maintenance including carpentry, decorating and fencing. In 2018, I began an advice service to clients wishing to renovate their property for resale. This furthered broadened my decorating and refurbishment skills. From 2022, I was an independent contractor for the Centre for Sustainable Energy providing vulnerable people with energy efficient home improvements. I am qualified in roofing assessment, leaks and repairs and now work with an experienced joiner, David. Together we create bespoke one off pieces of fitted furniture and kitchen cupboards and are extending this to garden rooms and outbuildings.

I offer a free written quote for all jobs and and work in between Cheddar, Shepton Mallet and Glastonbury and all the villages in-between. I work for charities, businesses, shops and individuals. I am fully insured and have a DBS check. In my spare time I still play classical and wurlitzer piano and as a climber of 30 years, still go out whenever I can.
